In reply to: Page redirectionVisitors to your site should not be going to wp-admin so page load times for that page is not a visitor problem.

In reply to: [Genesis Responsive Slider] Order option setting not there in source code?bamajr,
I had the same problem with this most frustrating feature of Genesis slider but I found a hack that works just fine. It seems the slides display in date order of the slides no matter what you do so go to Slides and do a “Quick Edit” of each one and change the date. One second difference is sufficient. The newest date will display first.

In reply to: [Genesis Responsive Slider] Order by "menu"Ron, you need to do SOMETHING to make this slider display slides in the order users want. It may be different to the specific request above, but the way it’s working now is crap. There are so many people complaining about not being able to get their slides displaying in the correct order. PLEASE DO SOMETHING, ANYTHING.

In reply to: [Genesis Responsive Slider] Not pulling based on IDI’m having a similar problem. It seems to be impossible to get the slides to display in the order I want. Genesis responsive slider seems to have a mind of its own. For a while I thought it was displaying the slides in reverse order and tried renumbering the slides backwards as a workaround, but now it seems to have gone random. I’m sure there must be some logic to it but Genesis certainly does not make it easy or intuitive. Quite the opposite in fact.

In reply to: [Genesis Responsive Slider] Order option setting not there in source code?+1 to this thread. I am having immense and frustrating difficulties getting my slides to display in the order I want.
Last year I made the strategic decision to move to Genesis for all the sites we build and love it… except for the slider order functionality. It is sub-par and desperately needs addressing.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Mail from gmail accounts not arriving through Contact Form 7Actually, I’ve just discovered that the gmail one was coming through. It appears Mac Mail was hiding ‘duplicates’ and only displaying one. When I trawled through the individual accounts they were all there.
The other thing I’ve discovered FWIW is that when you’re running Contact Form 7 on your website and you have your MX records set to use a 3rd party’s, such as Google, you have to disable the mail service on your domain, otherwise there will be interference. That’s even though there were no mail accounts set up. Once I switched off the mail service completely, the issue was fixed.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Mail from gmail accounts not arriving through Contact Form 7I am having the same problem. Emails come through to other addresses but not gmail. Does anyone know why this is and how to fix?
None whatsoever I’m afraid ??
If anyone has a solution I sure would welcome it.
