In reply to: [Facebook] How to show Comments only on certain pages?Just to let you guys know, I deleted the Facebook plugin and switched to Discus. It works easily as pie, and I can uncheck “Allow comments” under Discussion on a post and the comments disappear, just like I want.

In reply to: [Multi Twitter Stream] Please fix!Still not working. Now it freezes up bits of my page, some bits won’t load (like my admin toolbar), and the widget displays the widget title but nothing below it.

In reply to: [Facebook] How to show Comments only on certain pages?Niall: The only issue with that, is what if I want just one post from the same post type to not have comments? benklocek’s idea of having the plugin linked to the current WordPress “Allow Comments” option seems like the easiest and best solution for you. And it seems like a really quick fix, too, no?

In reply to: [Facebook] How to show Comments only on certain pages?benklocek: That sounds like a brilliant, easy, quick fix! So what would the entire added line of code look like?

In reply to: [Facebook] Remove Comment Box from One PageBy the way, the next plugin update truly should include a checkbox for this on the edit page of a page/post. Right now WordPress has a “Discussion” box, and “Allow Comments” is checked and can be unchecked if desired. There should be an “Allow Facebook Comments” (or simply have it linked to the first). And when unchecked, this will disable FB comments for that page/post only. Every other plugin has this on/off feature per page/post (ie. Add This, Jetpack Sharing, custom SEO options, etc.). Why FB doesn’t is beyond me.

In reply to: [Facebook] [Plugin: Facebook] Comments suggestionsI second what daveslc said!!!!!
And the metadata comment count would include BOTH numbers added together.
AND, clicking on the “x comments” link on the home page of a post should take the user to the top of the Facebook comment box, not the wordpress comment box (when this feature is enabled). That way the “x comments” link won’t skip down over the facebook comment box option.
Yes, this is a problem for me too. PLEASE FIX!!!!!

In reply to: [Facebook Comments] Metadata doesn't keep count – always says 0 commentsAlex thanks for the reply! Okay awesome. Now I know what I need to do. Any chance you could give me a quick pointer on how to connect this with my theme? (ie, do I modify your plugin files? Or is it my post.php? Or find a line of code that says “this”… Add “this” to it…Etc..)
Thanks again!
Zack

In reply to: [Facebook Comments] WordPress comment box under fb comments boxGood point. Now all I really want is the metadata comment count to include the Facebook comments, as well as the other WordPress standard comments (because it currently doesn’t). Anyone know how to do that? Thank you!

In reply to: [Facebook Comments] WordPress comment box under fb comments boxI don’t know how this got marked as resolved, but it’s not. Does anybody have any idea how to fix my duplicate comments boxes?

The facebook comments section is not linked properly with WordPress’s comments section; the metadata isn’t linked either…
