    Hi, thanks for the reply. I assume that by doing this all of the forms I had set up will be removed and will need to be recreated?

    @barnez – thanks for your specific recommendations

    1. I used the P3 Profiler and removed a few unnecessary plugins.

    2. 404 error on – wp-content/themes/woopress/custom.css – thanks for catching this, I was able to correct it which really helped.

    3. The other two Ajax issues issues you mentioned seem to be effecting me, but might be over my head in terms of addressing.

    However, one major speed issue, and the reason for my original post, was that my server response time is really slow (just used Pingdom and it showed 2.9 seconds of wait time). Is there anything I can do to specifically address this?

    @arncus recommended gtmetrix.com – after a number of little fixes I made using their recommendations, I’ve now got some really nice scores, a big improvement.     Hi, under the Tax tab I don’t see an box to check called “Tax On Shipping,” however, there’s a drop -down menu option called “Calculate Tax Based On” which I have set to the shipping address. Am I missing something? https://screencast.com/t/iaeKLnfeQBu

    Hi Claudio, yes, I’ve tried both the “standard” and the “based on cart items” options and it doesn’t seem to effect how the tax is calculated. Any other ideas? I’m really at a loss here…

    Hi Tara, would this question be better asked in the Plugins section of the forum? These aren’t really questions related to the theme, they’re more WooCommerce questions.

    I did contact the theme developer, who directed me to WooCommerce, but I can’t get support from them either because I purchased my theme through another vendor and not directly from them… so I’m not sure what my options are.
