It was indeed my IP address that caused the 404 errors.

So I’m assuming it was because I was using Safari at the time that these got generated or would they get generated if you’re using any browser on an Apple computer? I wonder how Apple benefits from this?

I now have that option (i.e. If a crawler’s pages not found (404s) exceed) set to 120 per minute it will get blocked. It was set to 30 before.

Unfortunately the theme’s contact form doesn’t support Google’s recaptcha, though you’re right that I could turn off the captcha completely.

I just read a little about Fragment Caching in the Pro version. It looks like it requires some advanced knowledge to set up properly?

It’s now working in all my browsers, so my hosting provider must have done something server side. Just to confirm, is the image now appearing for you?

Hmm, I can see the image when using Chrome but I just see code when trying it in Safari or Firefox…

I mailed my hosting provider with your message and I just got this reply:

There is no problem with the svg display.

The link you provided contains some extra characters so you need to remove those to have the image displayed correctly.

Does this make sense to you? Does it mean that it’s not an SVG file issue?

Thank you very much, that was indeed the problem. Technical support at my hosting provider fixed the page speed settings and the CAPTCHA is now working fine all the time.
