I knew it wasn’t the reason, because I used this provider before. But you helped me to find the solution!

It seems that the plugin “404 Redirection” considers this url to be a missing page. That’s the reason why it was rejected. Deactivate the plugin did the tric.

PS: I turned the coming soon page off to give it a try, but it made no difference as far as I can see…

Today I’ve tried to intall version 1.4.2, and that version seems to work flawless.

Maybe it’s usefull information to fix this in the next release ??

I suppose you’ve created a index.html in Dreamweaver. When you delete this page (or rename it, i.e. index_OLD), in most cases it will work fine.
Otherwise, check the htaccess-file on your server (if you have access to it).

Not a real solution, but after that I reinstalled the database, everything worked fine.

So I’ll just keep in mind to take a back-up from time to time, that will do ??
