It seems fine with the default theme, but not with my custom theme. I need to look further for the problem.

Anyhow, the backup method works so I think although that’s not an direct solution, the workaround method can save the pain of my ass.^^

The problem happens to my site and a clone site which is used for inside testing. I am using a custom theme so miybe that’s the issue?

I just don’t see the connection how come I only lose custom sidebar setting in every page. It seem odd to me.

I will run more testing today and let you know if I can find anything.

Btw, is that “_cs_replacements” in “wp_postmeta” table the only I am looking for backup? or there is other values in that table I need to pay attention?
