Hi Lorro, Sorry to bother you again.

Using Chrome>View>Developer>Inspect elements, it suggested to use “div#” and “section#” instead of “#” and “#post-3168 section”. With this alteration, your CSS worked great! Well, it looked good on Inspect elements.

But when I made this alteration in Customise > Add CSS, that didn’t produce the change on the page.

Any idea why this is the case? I appreciate your help.

I found div id=”post-3168″ so please disregard that part of my question.

But then why the css is not working for me??

With View>Developer>Inspect elements, I see “div.overlay.animated” but that is it.

Also, how do you find the post-3168 ID? The site I shared is a staging site and I need to replicate it with my real store site.

However, it’s not working for me, yet. I have My Custom Functions turned on. I would like to send you a screen shot but don’t see a way to attach any file.

So I added a user and exported users for May. The password appears to be encrypted.

What did I do wrong?

I found the culprit.
The first quotation sign (“) in @import line was not the right kind (it looked italicized).

Hope this helps someone else who is having the same or similar issue.

Thank you for your response. That (international character) might be it but again, that did not cause trouble with other sites of mine before, so I am not sure.

Fortunately, I was able to transfer my site up on GoDadday server. I watched several videos on YouTube and learned to export and import a DB. Having an experience with Duplicator prepped me to take that step, so I thank you for that.

I should first try it myself to transfer my site from local to web server using MAMP. There are some videos on YouTube. But tomorrow morning when my mind is in better shape. Wish me luck.
