Thanks, @edanzer, that fixes them all.
I’m impressed with the effort you’ve put in on this. I can certainly recommend NextGen Gallery to any WordPress users.
Hi @edanzer
Did my post with the three pages that aren’t working and the two that are get to you?
Yukoner@edanzer
I posted with several links to the pages not working and a couple that are, but it appears your automated system flagged it.I expect because of the links.
@edanzer
I’ve updated to 3.0.13.Slideshow not working on
https://normhamilton.ca/photography/environmental-portraits/
https://normhamilton.ca/photography/stone-butter-church-photowalk-2018/
https://normhamilton.ca/photography/sandsculptures-in-parksville-bc-2018/but is working on
https://normhamilton.ca/photography/headshots-and-executive-portraits/
https://normhamilton.ca/photography/maternity-photography/The first page I sent works with the new update but none of the others do.
Here’s a new page where, after clearing the cache in Gallery/Other Options/Miscellaneous, I tried to install a gallery. Nothing shows.
https://normhamilton.ca/photography/nextgen-test/
I’ve added
.ngg-slideshow .ngg-gallery-slideshow-image a {
display: inline !important;
}
to Gallery/Other Options/Styles/Show Customization Options after removing it from Settings/Custom CSS. That way it’s only in one place so I don’t lose track. LOL- This reply was modified 6 years, 5 months ago by yukoner.
@edanzer.
Oops, spoke too soon.
The second fix makes the images on the first page we corrected not fit within the slideshow.See https://normhamilton.ca/photography/headshots-and-executive-portraits/
@edanzer
I tried the fix you gave last and it didn’t work.However I altered it to include “inline-block” and that seems to have fixed the issue. The slideshows are present, manually, on both pages and posts, as far as I can see.
This is the total of what I’ve inserted into Appearance/Customize/Additional CSS (both fixes)
.ngg-slideshow .ngg-gallery-slideshow-image img {
display: inline-block !important;
}.ngg-slideshow .ngg-gallery-slideshow-image a {
display: inline-block !important;
}@edanzer
I also tried the instructions you gave @jillsdablogThe slideshow that was working (manually) still showed, but no other does.
Here’s a page with another that isn’t showing. https://normhamilton.ca/photography/environmental-portraits/
@edanzer
Interestingly, the images are showing on the page that I sent you, only with manual slide as we noted before. However, it doesn’t work on any other pages, or on posts.
yukoner@edanzer
Thanks. I’ve made that change now.Excellent. Thanks for the help. I’m impressed.
NormThanks again edanzer. I used the “Gallery” option.
This allows the images to show but the slideshow is not working. I have to click the arrows to get to the next image.
Thanks, edanzer. I had already tried the steps Gaby suggested.
Here’s a link to one of the relevant pages. I’ve set all the others to thumbnails.

My galleries have stopped showing as well.

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] wp-crash after update to 4.4.3@coolman Jason, the only error log I have access to doesn’t seem to indicate any errors from this issue at all. Far too often the support crews at our ISP resort to cutting and pasting pat answers instead of researching the current issue. In this case they used an outdated direction to locate the error log.
I uninstalled 4.4.2 entirely, including using FTP to remove the directory at /wp-content/uploads/wp-slimstat. Then I installed 4.4.3. Got the white page again, no new error messages.
