component: “Plugin: wordpress-popup”

line: 413
message: “Undefined property: WP_Error::$lists”component: “Plugin: wordpress-popup”
file: “wp-content/plugins/wordpress-popup/inc/providers/mailchimp/hustle-mailchimp-form-settings.php”
line: 414

This is the same issue I am having. I assume your API connection isn’t happening at all too?
I’ve ended up scrapping the Mailchimp connection part of this plugin and just embedded a Mailchimp Form (you can do this form the Embed Forms part of Mailchimp – get the code to insert, that is). If you need a work around.
I’m convinced its a problem with the actual plugin because I recreated the same error across three separate domains, uninstalled plugins, downgraded wordpress, the lot. Nothing worked!
Argh this is so frustrating.
I really want this plugin to work as it contains the features I require, but right now I’m not sure it’ll ever work.
Whatever is in the code for the connection to mailchimp is just getting rejected by mailchimp. On ALL my environments, where other mailchimp plugins work fine.
Mailchimp reports the same error for all of them.
Thus I’m fairly sure it’s a problem with the plugin connection code.
I’m using WordPress 5.1.1 (downgraded back to this for your plugin!)
I do have a bespoke theme, but there’s no reason this should be a factor given other mailchimp plugins have worked.
I’ve got your latest version of Hustle. The API connection just won’t work.
I can’t be the only person with this problem.
I have just attempted to uninstall all my mailchimp plugins on my live environment (no issue with any other mailchimp plugin…), and replace with Hustle, but STILL no Mailchimp connection.
The same error keeps coming up. ??
Mailchimp is functional on my live site with an alternative plugin (which I disabled to run this plugin, and reinstalled after finding this plugin didn’t work). Mailchimp also works on both my test environments, again with other plugins which were removed prior, and reinstalled all working afterwards.
So I know that this isn’t the issue.
BUT that’s a nice suggestion.
Any others?
So I guess the answer to my question is “Don’t use this plugin, it doesn’t work”
Thanks very much for the lack of support guys.
How did I get to be the special one with no assistance thus far?
Any help please?
Also plugin says:
auth_wpbb.php
This file must be copied from to W:\home\mydomain\www\phpbb\includes\auth/auth_wpbb.php
common.php
This file must be copied from to W:\home\domain\www\phpbb/common.php
But these files exists in that foldersI noticed that there’s no information in this (on my install too) showing where you are supposed to copy the files FROM!
They’re hiding in the plugins folder in wp-content, in ‘Files’.
That didn’t solve my problem on it’s own though – it’s still broken!

In reply to: [PHPBB Single Sign On] [Plugin: PHPBB Single Sign On] Is it worth trying?Ridiculous. Completely screwed my wp AND phpbb this time.
FYI – wp and phpbb ARE in the same db.

The instructions for install are not particularly clear – also there was no assistance for a missing wpbb auth file ….
Might try again.
Sigh.

In reply to: [PHPBB Single Sign On] [Plugin: PHPBB Single Sign On] Is it worth trying?I’ve given up. It completely screwed my installation of PHPBB. Have had to delete it and reinstall.
Disappointing because if it worked, it would be exactly what I’m looking for.
Perhaps the WP community could pick this up and move it forwards for the latest WP?
Just a thought.
