In reply to: [Redirection] Redirecting to original url after editing target urlok I tried it in another browser and it did redirect to the new updated url
so i have to figure out a way to force customers to see the new version and not the old.
That has nothing to do with Redirection though.
Thanks for a great app!

In reply to: [GeneratePress] Custom HookYeah, it’s saying I don’t have a valid license.
I am still using the generate press theme I originally paid for.Am I not allowed to post questions in that forum if I don’t keep an updated license even though I purchased GP?
It does seem to be fixed!!!
Thanks so much for the fast response and update!
Awesome man! I appreciate that. Looking forward to seeing the update!
Thanks again
Ok, upon further testing, it does indeed still revert back to the “tags” in the page title and meta description fields even with “Classic Editor” turned off.
So to confirm, all plugins are deactivated (except AIOSEO), and the theme is the wordpress original theme, and yes, the bug is still happening.
Here is the process to make it happen…
-Go to edit a page
-update the page title and meta description
-save as a draft
-navigate to another page or wordpress dashboard
-wait a few minutes
-come back to the original page in question
-scroll down and the page title and meta descriptions are as I left them
-save as a draft
-now the page title and meta descriptions have reverted back to the default tagsOk with everything deactivated, it does work fine.
I tested a few plugins and it turns out it’s happening when the plugin called “Classic Editor” is enabled.
However, I’ve used the Classic Editor plugin for years and on multiple sites along with AIOSEO and no problems until about a week or two ago (I think there was an AIOSEO update).
Honestly, I am not going to proceed without using the classic editor. I would rather switch my SEO plugin. So maybe you guys can figure out what’s wrong.

In reply to: [Starbox - the Author Box for Humans] Remove hyperlink from the author nameIt seems that you cannot have a blank link, BUT you can just simply add in your author bio page (assuming you have one). Just go to the user profile in WP and put in the author bio page as the ‘website’
Is there a way to insert the table of contents anywhere on the page?
Maybe using a shortcode?
Thanks!
UPDATE: I found in another thread that you can use the shortcode [toc] , no need to reply!
