I have the same issue

Opening a new thread does not solve the problem…
So closing this case is not the solution and a shame for the comunity with so many problems about that

Is there a way to overwrite the settings with code in the functions? I don’t need any inventory and all products can be shown available?

to understand the website: on our webshop are severall products to hire. We used woocommerce for it and created product variations for the hire period. (day / week / month). The checkout process is just a regular woocommerce without any payment.
I confirm that I don’t see any simillarities and the out of stock message does not appear with recent ordered products.

The out of stock message appears ‘suddenly’ and randomly for products.
Message disapears when I save/update the product the product.
Message appears even when product is not sold in the shop.

Woocommerce, wordpress and all plugins are updated.
I don’t have any plugins or scripts running for stockmanagement, but offcourse for other purposes.
Website is build with elementor and crocoblock jetengine

Hosting said that there is a tool Running for global patches, but can’t conform that a patch changed the file. They don’t have log files about patching.? No further help of hosting Company?sorry.

Further I noticed the following:
There was a new update of woocommerce.I updated the plugin as usual.
Two day after that I get again the message from woocommerce with concerning the modification of the same file

Webshops are all hosted on Combell in Belgium.
I contacted the host and they are investigating it.
I have one webshop behind a password protection thus not visible without a password…. there was no file change. Normally this had to be patched although if it is only patching related (I think)

After doing some investigation myself I found that the problem was not woocommerce itself but by a thirdparty plugin Flexible Checkout Fields
