I thought i had the same issue in the past and it ended up being because my screen was at a zoom of 90% instead of 100%.

Yes I have created new pages in wordpress and just copied and pasted across the text (there are very few images)
The only content i will be using from my old files (on dreamweaver) are PDFs which don’t link back to my website anyway. So I’m planning on keeping the PDFs where they are and linking to them.
I will not be using any of the old pages, however I want my new pages to have the same names or redirects as customers will have bookmarked certain pages.
I don’t care about google ranking – people use direct links.

So regarding the index page, i mean can i just delete the old one, replace it with the wordpress one. If I were to create a new page with the same same name, i would need to change the orignal file to /example_old or something?

Sorry for so many questions – its just hard to find a solution to this online.

I don’t want to import my dreamweaver site. There arent many pages so I’m happy enough to copy all of the content across. However, I just want to check:
Should I make the link names in my local WordPress site the exact same as the current live site.
If so, could I just add the files from my local wordpress site to dreamweaver and just change the index page that links up to all of my new pages?
