In reply to: [WP Recipe Maker] Guided Recipe – Import images with text – Feature requestIndeed that’s a much more exciting file to work with. Do you happen to know how is this function works there? I couldn’t find anything that relates to the media-toggle but that’s probably something to do with my poor understanding of js.

In reply to: [WP Recipe Maker] Guided Recipe – Import images with text – Feature requestYeah, meanwhile I’ve found the media-toggle.js file but haven’t dared to touch it yet. ??

In reply to: [WP Recipe Maker] Guided Recipe – Import images with text – Feature requestThat’s sounds great. If it takes a long time to implement it would be great if you could tell which .php file to edit to change the state. I guess it’s just a matter of changing ‘default’ => true/false
Thanks!

In reply to: [WP Recipe Maker] Guided Recipe – Import images with text – Feature requestI’m actually happy without a toggle as long as the images are not showing. With all the pictures in the recipe it feels like the plugin is taking over the whole page. It feels strange.
Would it be possible to add a toggle for the recipe that sets the default state to hide? Showing all the images makes the whole page unnecessarily long and in my particular case twice as much as I have all the images inserted in the page already.

In reply to: [WP Recipe Maker] Guided Recipe – Import images with text – Feature requestI’ve just tried this instruction image inserting and I’ve got some issues with it. Not sure if some are intentional or not.
I couldn’t get the “Default Show Instruction Images” working. It doesn’t matter if the toggle is green or grey the images are always shown in the recipe.
Only the chic template shows the toggle switch. The rest of the templates don’t have an image toggle. This wouldn’t be a problem if the “Default Show Instruction Images” settings were respected but the images are always shown here too.
I use W3 caching plugin and did a cache purge after every setting. I refreshed the page with ctrl+f5 on firefox. I don’t use CDN.

In reply to: [WP Recipe Maker] Guided Recipe – Import images with text – Feature requestYeah, I understand it. As I’ve seen the recipe niche not many sites adopted the “take a photo of every step” method in the instructions.
I wonder how many things will change now that google is pushing for it, though.Anyhow thanks for considering it!

In reply to: [WP Recipe Maker] Guided Recipe – Import images with text – Feature requestWill something be implemented in the near future to import the instruction images?
Adding the instruction images to over 200 posts manually doesn’t sounds like fun at all. If google is not so hasty pushing this thing so aggressively then it may worth a bit of waiting.
I haven’t had a chance to test in on Chrome yet as Pinterest requires to be signed in and I use firefox. So it may well be that it works on chrome but not on firefox.
Thanks for getting back to us with the info Adam! We’ll wait for the update and report back!
Thanks!
I can confirm that it’s happening on that site too. I can only see the same grey placeholder instead of an image.
The featured image is set for me too but I definitely don’t want that to be shared on pinterest. Images that are not in pinterest format get almost zero attention.
Hi,
Sorry I didn’t get back to you. Yes it’s working now. I don’t get the error message when I open the social media tab and I can change options without problems.I’ve got a problem the plugin picking up pictures from the page for pinterest but I opened a different thread for that.
You can close this ticket.
Thank you!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WP Recipe Maker] Guided Recipe – Import images with text – Feature requestI have the images on the page itself with instructions. When I add WP recipe to the page I simply copy the whole text from wordpress editor’s text tab and paste it into wp recipe maker:
https://www.suncakemom.com/savory/low-carb-pizza-recipeFor me it’s happening or rather not happening on all the pages. https://www.dropbox.com/s/pz4fv90xtzbdhua/pinterest%20problem.png?dl=0
Yeah, I was going to check out the premium version because I need the localization setting too but before buying something I like to see if it does what I need.
What does advanced caching support mean? Are you going to tell me what to do to set the plugin up or the premium version simply works with w3?
Thanks! Thanks for getting back to me!

Thanks!I’m not familiar with your theme but it very well could be that your widget -that contains the embed- is only enabled on the homepage.
You have to enable it for the rest of the pages. Not sure what happened in the latest updates as I haven’t updated yet but if you disable recipe maker then you can make the changes you want in hustle. When you have finished with the settings turn on recipe maker. It worked for me.
