Regarding your site: Assuming you are asking a WordPress-related question… be sure to: 1. export your posts to an XML file and 2. download all your files to back them up.

This way if you have a change of heart, you can pick up where you left off.

If you really need to shut your site down in a hurry and you are near an electrical outlet, pull the the server’s electrical cord out of the wall.

You should be able to leave your blog for weeks without touching it. Please let us know the hosting company if possible as a service to others who may also be dealing with this.

Also, please let us know if your blog issue is fixed because if you are paying a hosting company, they should be spending that money on keeping your blog safe instead of Xbox and pizza.
