In reply to: [Geolocation] Feature request: Mashup mapWell, yes it is a little hidden today. In previous releases, it was more present. Glad you could figure it out. So I assume, it is working, right?

In reply to: [Geolocation] Feature request: Mashup mapWell, inside a page, you choose to display ?custom fields“. Then you add one ?category“ field and fill the value with the category name you would like to display.

In reply to: [Geolocation] Adding Multiple LocationsWell, as you guessed it, it is not that simple as there would be multiple parts to be considered:
- admin menu – entering & removing optionally additional locations
- Reverse Geocoding on demand when storing
- Re-processing posts when desired (admin config)
- Displaying multiple locations for text and map
- Displaying the overall map for multiple locations per post
- Enabling map-algorithms for google and open streetmaps
In my past, when I had a similar desire to have for example more than one post per day (as there were multiple locations/attractions that day), I posted one per activity since they were all shown on a (ordered) page anyway.
In case that helps, I can also share my custom page type to give you a better understanding of what I am referring to.

In reply to: [Geolocation] Adding Multiple LocationsHi,
thanks for the suggestion and please apologize that I did not reply on GitHub. It seems that the notifications were not properly set up.-.Currently, now can only add one location to each article as it would be complex to add and display multiple (and the right one at the right place).
If it would be O.K. with you, you could also have a special page that displays only particular posts (filtered per category) and display the locations here but also the articles.
if have such a customized page type for every journey on my website. Maybe it would make sense to add something like this for you?

In reply to: [Geolocation] simultaneous trackingHi,
No, the plug-in is not intended for such a use case. It is designed to enable bloggers to anotate their posts with geodata that can then be shown on a map.

In reply to: [Geolocation] Only works for posts?I would be happy to get your idea for incorporating it into any of the next releases but would need your input. Kindly drop me your thoughts once you can specify them. Closing the issue for now.

In reply to: [Geolocation] Only works for posts?Hi,
Well that is correct. Currently the plug-in does only support to add geo information to posts but not pages as initially the WordPress app also only provided this accordingly.
However know a page you can provide a summary map for a give category or all posts.
let me know the case you are aiming for.Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [Geolocation] pages remain without content when the plugin is activated…well, you meant a simple single page, right? I figured that out now and can reproduce…might take a moment…

In reply to: [Geolocation] pages remain without content when the plugin is activatedHi,
I tried to reproduce the issue by installing a fresh WordPress incl. geolocation and GenerateBlocks as well as using GeneratePress. However, the default article shows as expected incl. location and content. Can you please send me a link to your page to geolocation at yann-michel dot de. THX.
