Yes, that is exactly what is is used for. On my own page you can see this (in German) with the Travel blog. The respective pages filter on a particular jouney (with the mentioned mechanism described in the plugin) and also only show the map on the particular page.

I am happy that I could solve the point. I also see, that WP-App does not work as expected and will try to figure out if I can provide a solution to this issue.
I would also be glad if you were writing a review in case you find the time :-).

I could now understand the issue for it and provided a fix in 1.9.6

The addresses are currently combined out of the attributes city, suburb and country only.
If I see your second request, it might make sense to also have town, municipality and country as alternative. Did you discover also more possible outcomes?

I tried to reproduce your issue but was not successful. Even though I found and fixed an other issue, yours still is a mystery to me.
Have you tried to deactivate the other plugins? Which are you using?
What theme do you use? Have you tried with a standard WP theme?

I had a look into your request but do not really see the benefit for the plugin. Understanding that you might me most likely searching for a map-service to add locations to some information, the plugin‘s initial intention was to use provided ?standard-posts“ geo information for travel bloggers in order to show their locations on a map.

Please, feel free to outline your requirements in more detail if possible.

Hi Rianne,

Thanks for reaching out. What you see in posts is the admin extension of the edit page, i.e., the plug-in when working within the edit page. The post itself stores only longitude, latitude and the derived location information in custom fields that start with geo*.
I don’t know how the plug-in could be used within your framework but in case you find a link to share on how to make geolocation ready for working with it I can check if the effort makes sense.
