I have the same problem with godaddy hosting and domain.
I have a couple of wordpress website hosted with godaddy.com
from very complex with tons of image website to simple plain text content wordsite.
I realize that it isn’t the page that is loading very slow. It is the connection time that is holding up the page load.
sometime my page takes 5 to 10 second to connect to the database, but once it connects, everything loads pretty quick. Even pages that has as much as 5mb worth of images.
Now i also contacted godaddy, and told them about the issue. They too ran all the tests they can possibly could. Don’t know what the problem. I show them other wordpress site that is very similar to mine on another hosting company, which loaded instantly. they have no clue why.
Now i have to decided if this is a database issue, or an issue with hosting with godaddy.com
Any can help?
maybe ways to optimize the wordpress database?
