In reply to: Fixing www.remarpro.com site:Hi all, hi @websprout,
Today morning, when I opened the back-end of the site, I found it to be miraculously intact. The only damage, and a massive one at that, is the loss of data. That will have to be rebuilt. But the front end continues to be non-functional. I request your help in getting the front-end repaired, too. WP has on its own installed the Twenty Twenty theme. The site is: ylc.yidamweb.in.
Thank you in advance.

In reply to: Fixing www.remarpro.com site:Hi,
Thank you for your message, @websprout – much appreciated.
I do not recall having installed any new plugin. However, I did delete a few files/folders within the pages in a bid to restore the functioning of the site; which must have crashed the site. How to get the site running up once again, given that I have access to the cpanel only, and nothing else?
Thanks again for sparing time to look into my issue.
Thanks, s2Member friends, for all your help. I am a pro member too – that’s the reason I am motivated to get a return on my investment in this plugin! (Krumch, I just now dropped you a mail.)
Hi,
I logged in as admin, and checked the “Role” field as provided in “Users” >> “All Users” >> “Role”. I tick-marked the “Role” field to “S2 Member Level 1”. After saving, I was instantly able to access the features which were hitherto fore unavailable.
This brings me to the question – What needs to be done so that I do not have to manually go about changing the value of the field “Role” after every registration.
I am trying to get in touch with kts915 for the services they can provide. But contact details are not available on their profile.
Cristan, I deactivated all the plugins, except S2 Member. After logging in, the user is redirected to the backend.
I am using the latest version of WP, am not using BP, and am using the right set of pages expected by the S2 member plugin.
Can I be pointed to a fully functional site which exploits all the features of S2 member to the hilt? Also, are there themes designed exclusively to take advantage of S2 member? I know of Theme Forest, but got lost in the maze of themes it has on offer.
Hi KTS915,
I did as you suggested. Still no dice.
Hi again,
This problem exists irrespective of the browser used – Chrome or Firefox.
Hi KTS915,
The setting in the “Member Profile Modifications” tab is as instructed. Yet, after logging in, S2Member redirects the user to the default profile panel.
Thank you for the suggestion.

In reply to: [Registration Options for BuddyPress] Allow Public Access To Groups/Forums?Hello jibbius,
I looked into the “Settings” option for any entry corresponding to this plugin, but did not find any. Request you to advice how to access this particular plugin’s settings.
Thanks in advance.

In reply to: [Registration Options for BuddyPress] Allow Public Access To Groups/Forums?Hi,
Thank you jibbius for taking a look at my problem.
The problem was bypassed by disabling the BP Registration Options plugin. After disabling the plugin, I see that any non-member can access the group / forum area of the site. However, as long as this plugin stays enabled, any person trying to access the forum link is redirected to REGISTER.
It would be a great if a solution can be found such that I am able to make use of the plugin.
Thanks in advance.
