Is there a staging website so I can see this issue live?
Maybe its a combination of plugin parameters which causes the issue.

I have installed the plugin “All In One WP Security & Firewall” on my local installation and it seems that works fine.
Could you please tell me which parameter did you set to rename the wp-admin folder?

Yes of course, but only if the user (e.g. author) has the previleges to see the wordpress backend.
After log in as the user, then you have to type the “/wp-admin” in the browser bar.

No, this is impossible.
You cannot log in as an Admin, because Admins have higher privileges than Editors.
But you can log in as another Admin if you are Admin.

It seems that your server blocks the big URLs.

Can you send the following URL to your hosting provider? https://stackoverflow.com/questions/40426157/nginx-url-limit-502-gateway

Could you try also to login with a user which has a short username or email?

Finally this worked great:

$order->update_meta_data( '_wcpdf_invoice_number', 123 ); 
$order->update_meta_data( '_wcpdf_formatted_invoice_number', 123 ); 
$order->update_meta_data( '_wcpdf_invoice_date', date_i18n( get_option( 'date_format' ), strtotime('2019-05-27 14:30:00') ) );

Do not forget to put the above code before the order save!

$order->save();
