In reply to: [Osom Author Pro] Isn’t responsive with Aspire themeYep, that did the trick! Thank you so much for the prompt reply!
Thanks! I was using a free carousel plugin. I’ve since switched to a different one, and that one seems to be working without the error. But I’ll try adding your code to functions and see if that resolves the problem with the first carousel.
Thanks! I think it is indeed a theme conflict. I’m using the Graphene theme, which hasn’t been updated in some time. However, I found a workaround: if I un-publish the form, I can edit the text box. Very odd, but probably not worth your trying to duplicate the error, as the theme itself is sadly rather out-dated and probably won’t be in use for much longer.

In reply to: [Mooberry Book Manager] Suggestion: add author and other rolesGreat! I’ll try that! Another solution I tried is simply to add “supports ‘author'” to the custom post type registration. This allows me to use the post author as the author of the book, which has some advantages. But I’ll definitely be happy to see a multi-author version of this plugin in the future. I quite like the back-end functionality.

In reply to: [Mooberry Book Manager] Suggestion: add author and other rolesYep. But since I want it to show up on other posts, I don’t want to disable it site wide (something my theme supports).
I’ll see if I can find some sort of class id in the css generated for Mooberry books and see if I can get a “display: none” to work for the post meta.
Thanks for your help!

In reply to: [Mooberry Book Manager] Suggestion: add author and other rolesGreat! I’ll definitely be on the lookout for the new version.
For now, is there a way to hide the post-author information so that I can use the subtitle to display the author? I could probably fish around in the plugin files to disable it, but better to do it via css.

In reply to: [Totally Booked] Add Buy Now Button to book pageHi Ben,
The text is from a different page on the site, which I pasted into the existing book detail page. It could be that the plugin is getting confused by an earlier custom post type (though the fact that the plugin uses tb as a prefix ought to keep that from happening.) When I put in a test book, it also fails to show the buy-now buttons, so it doesn’t appear to be a problem with this particular page. I’ll try a few other work-arounds.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Totally Booked] Add Buy Now Button to book pageThanks Kelli,
Yes, I’ve put in all the information, and it works nicely in the archives view (I did some tweaking of the css there to give more room for the cover photo. Here’s the archive page:

I’ve put one real book up, and one as a test, just so you can see the bare bones of it.Now oddly, I just now got it working perfectly on another site, with all the bells and whistles. (https://www.damaged-mirror.com/books/) Both sites use the same theme as this one (Graphene) so presumably, it’s not a theme conflict. Very odd! Perhaps you’ll see something here that I’ve missed.
