After deleting Wordfence, there was no mention of Wordfence in .htaccess. I still had the error: Fatal error:
Unknown: Failed opening required ‘/home/xxxxxxx/WP-LC/wp-lc.php’ (include_path=’.:/opt/remi/php70/root/usr/share/pear:/opt/remi/php70/root/usr/share/php:/usr/share/pear:/usr/share/php’) in Unknown on line 0
Then I deleted the user.ini and php.ini files.
That solved the problem.

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Publicize for WordPress 5.0Hi, I’m using Jetpack on a www.remarpro.com site. When I go to Jetpack settings to configure my social media accounts, I get redirected to WordPress.com (where I do not have a site). And because I do not have a WordPress.com site, I cannot configure my social media. Any help you can provide is much appreciated.

In reply to: [Mailchimp for WooCommerce] API Request Error – cURL error 28I also have the latest version of the MailChimp Woocommerce plugin running on Godaddy. Using WPcrontrol, I am unable to set up a chron job (error code 49). I use ManageWP to monitor uptime. But that does not seem to fix the Curl error with your plugin. Any further advice?
I’m still working with my host to move the site to another server that supports the latest version of curl.
Here’s the error:
Fatal error: Uncaught exception ‘Exception’ with message ‘There was an error connecting to the Wordfence scanning servers: cURL error 35: Unknown SSL protocol error in connection to noc1.wordfence.com:443Here’s the fix:
After working with WordPress support (they were very responsive and helpful). Here’s the cause of this error.“We recently had to update the software on our servers due to compliance which means we had to stop supporting some older SSL ciphers. What is happening here is that your site is trying to connect to Wordfence servers but failing because the connection method your server is using is too old.
What needs to be updated is curl and OpenSSL. This should be updated not only for the functionality of Wordfence and your SSL connections, but for the security of your site in general as well.
If you are not hosting the site yourself you will need to reach out to your host and ask them to update curl.”

In Sandbox mode, the PayPal screen does not have a link that says “Don’t have a PayPal account?”
Here’s the screenshot: https://xtramark.com/1.jpg
And here’s what happens if you don’t enter a password, and confirm it: https://xtramark.com/1-errors.jpg
I spoke with PayPal and the interface should offer a guest check out option.
The Seamless Donations plugin is not displaying a guest check out option.
It requires a password after entering credit card info to set up a new account. Is there a way to have the PayPal interface display the guest check out option in a PayPal standard account?

I was able to move the security plugin folders, login, and then create a new administrative login, delete the login the hacker guessed, and then replace the security plugins and run scans.Forum: Plugins
