I’ve been so busy on so many projects and I’ve been meaning to start a big tidy up process, but spare time has been so scarce… I’m really just a programmer not a web designer….but thanks to your honest comments (some may say brutally honest! lol) I’ve spent a few hours today and done quite a major design overhaul.
Actually Jinsan, my objective WAS literally just to ‘throw them all in’, the reason being that my web stuff is just ‘word of mouth’ work, and they always seem to ask “can you do …. ?” So I built the site just for that! It wasn’t meant to be pretty.. still isn’t!.. just a demo hotchpotch, a little bit of everything all on a home based Apache server.
So anyway, comments were appreciated! You actually got me to get round to doing something with it!Forum: Fixing WordPress

Also:
1) If I click on the php files they show correctly!
2) my httpd.conf file is exactly the same in both my laptop server and the pc server and the laptop server shows the pages fine without any prompting.In httpd.conf I have: DirectoryIndex index.html index.php
