same here, post-edit doesn’t work – for user it do nothing; for admin open for edit page with shortcode

I’m on VPS and I use some optimization plugins but it doesn’t help a lot. DB is really big and near 500-700 entries added daily.

I don’t know how to optimize it on server, will look for tutorial.

With last upgrade it’s more dead than before…

I have enabled jQuery clicktracking but somehow it doesn’t track clicks unless I use remote urls

Well I figure out few things…
I can cover target url if I use remote page URL https://www.mydomain.com/wp-content/plugins/adrotate/library/clicktracker.php?track=MTgsMCwxLDA=

Tricky things are if I use direct url it will not track clicks, only if it go via clicktracker. But there was no note on that… or I missed it?

Is it possible to shorten url by skipping middle part /wp-content/plugins/adrotate/library/ and make it short like: clicktracker.php?track=DEasNObpSAB= so entire url will be like https://www.mydomain.com/clicktracker.php?track=DEasNObpSAB=
and maybe you may create for next upgrade something like %track% to make it easy for us. ??

Well, not like sub-blogs, I looking more like one site serve ads to sites on other domains. More like ad server for network where admin have access to all dashboards in network.

I’ll pay a lot more than $20 for good working plugin but I’ll not spend a penny for something I have problems with and no support at all.
Check the forum, you’ll not find any replies from author to anyone in very long time.
When there no replies, no technical support, then there is no money to support dead cat…

Thanks for your time and kind lecture, but unfortunately you said nothing to help solving the problems.

I been trying contacting developer through his website and directly number of times and never ever get one word back.

If you do know anything about plugin setting and how plugin works with very large DB, beside “widely used plugin with tens of thousands of satisfied users” let’s talk about that.
If you do not know how to solve the problems then we have no subject to discuss. ??

P.S. If you’ll read ALL replies, you may find unsatisfied users as well…

Well I don’t have my own data center to manage one plugin. I’m talking about standard VPS hosting that are near dead every time plugin retrive RSS.

…and, as I know, 90% of sites use standart hosting.

Beer, it would be great if plugin will have Pro version.
I have a few addons but I can’t do any changes inside core files.

Bas Schuiling – I was ready to spent money, I contacted author but got no answer from plugin developer.
To hire anybody else to fix huge plugin with unknown code investment will double or triple.

And please don’t blame me for “complaining”. I’m not complaining, my post is “BEWARE!” not complain. ??
