You simply may go to “All posts” select posts > bulk action > edit > update. All selected posts will be updated with local images.

Before you do it for many posts, try on few “test” posts, on some installations it works fine, on some a little funky. For example on one of my single blogs it works with no problem, on MU installation at first click on “Update” for multiple posts plugin return error, on second click works correctly. I don’t know why it works so.

Aaron Axelsen, there is a problem with “new posts” – I have posts that created via RSS and as new post created ALL other post’s expiration date/time plugin reset to the latest post expiration date. Therefore no old posts expired ever.

Therefore Adrotate Pro just total waste of money.

That’s not what the banner should look like.

That is exactly what banner look like. I posted screenshot not photoshop image. You buttons “Learn More” and “Rate AdRotate” overlapping gray X so it doesn’t show. So please make “gray X” normally visible.

woodsandhillsplc, thanks, I did checked almost all archive/calendar plugins I could find, but all based on same function so every plugin request all post for each date. Some have settings to turn it off but it mean “no show” not “no request from DB”.

Good function for small blog but not for large. I tried to work around but get no success.

Well, when we talk of hire someone for something that’s mean system we are using is not free.
When we are talking about free system there is nothing wrong with requesting of functionalities that were requested by thousands of users for many years.

Your advice is like giving empty plate to homeless man and said: “I gave you the plate, now you must get your own food” – ‘thank you very much’ for your attention to users needs…

Cais, thank you for all your replies. For site I’m working now I found another solution for galleries. But in next month I start working on another project and will try NG again. If I find bug or work-around hints, I’ll post it here.

After I tested for few galleries, there were about 700 entries in option table that I have to remove manually. I just can’t imagine how many it could be with alot of galleries like I have… ??

Maybe you may consider in future some option to clean table not on deactivation, but in prosses of uninstall. Many plugins offer this option during uninstall with warning of loosing all info.

I got another question. Are NEXTgen set options for galleries and albums in option table as transients? There could be a big problem. I clean up opitions frequntly as thousands of transients created all the time.

Here we are just return to begining of this tread – I found cause of fatal error – it appear after I cleaned up transients. In my case it could be critical. Site will contain thousands of posts each with it’s own gallery. So many transients soon overload option table and will cause site speed.
Also it reason I asked of possibility to generate shortcodes for galleries, because it near to impossible to scroll through thousands of galleries to find the one that need to add to post.
