Thanks for your reply. I had already two default themes twenty12 and twenty13 installed in that folder.I renamed my existing theme and twenty13 as you suggested, but it did not change anything. Still the same. My website is khimushin.com – you can see the same error message at the main page as well as on the wp-admin page.

Michael! I have an issue with deleting an old version of the plugin and after that it kills my website. I can access via FTP only. Do you happen to know how to activate a default theme manually (because my admin page is not accessible) Thanks!

The fix is found! In my case I had to update php version on my hosting account side from 5.3 to 5.4 and it works like a charm now.

I’ve spent hours and hours playing with changing file permissions, for some pictures it worked, but for others it did not and I could not work out what was the difference between them. Then I contacted GoDaddy (my hosting provider) support. Online chatting with their staff was useless. Instead of trying to help me they seemed to try to get rid of me suggesting that it was not their hosting issue, but something wrong with my pictures. Anyway, after reading above a message from lesleyamoore I updated php. In my case it was 5.3., but it was only possible to update it to 5.4 as no other versions were offered to choose from. After that I uploaded pictures to the media library without any problems. Not sure if 5.4 will cause any problems, as it’s rather unstable version at the moment, but at lest it fixed the problem!

solved! sorry, i have 2 installations of WP on my site, was looking at a wrong directory ))

I checked and I already have

update_option( ‘wpseo’, $options );

without any s in update_option, but it shows the fatal error. can anybody help me please!

Pann, if you could suggest how to do the opposite: I’d like to keep a white box on mouse over, but to disable a grey box that pops up with the same post title every time I mouse over any home page thumbnail.

I would also like to disable same grey box that I have on mouse over any given gallery thumbnail on all pages/posts that include a gallery. The grey box displays a picture title. If I delete title i still have that box, just empty one. it looks even worst.

RavanH, you’re rock! )) I tried to install a FancyBox for WP first, I had questions and posted them to a support forum no one replied at all, so was with some other plugins. But you replied promptly and was very helpful. I am happy to deal with you guys and will keep using your plugin! Thank you so much!

Thank you for the suggestion, RavanH! I tried and it works, but it is not convenient to copy-paste iframe code for each and every picture. It also looks jammed together with text, since I use Alt text field as a description for pictures in fancybox window instead of just title. BTW how to align Alt text to the left when displayed in fancybox? If I put 2-3 lines it looks ugly with align to center.

I hope Facebook Like feature will be integrated in the next version.

Also, RavanH, can you please answer another question I posted: how to disable right mouse click? I don’t really like an idea of people copying any image they like from my portfolio.

hi gingerjam! when you create or edit a post there is an option to “set featured image” on the right bottom part of the screen, and that’s where the picture comes from. when you upload the picture choose single thumbnail size 640X360 and not “insert to post” button, but link to the right to it saying “use as featured image”.

After playing with it for a while I’ve got it. The plugin now works with WP 3.1 + LJXP 2.1.2 , however just like was suggested by others here it only works if WP installed directly in a root directory.

Overall it’s cool plugin and easy to use plugin, thanks mate!

One suggestion from me is to make it synchronising comments in both directions. Also if the transferred from LJ to WordPress comments could have LJ avatars that’ll be much appreciated!

ПРивет! попробовал плагин с wordpress версии 3.1 и 3.2.1 + плагин Livelournal Crossposting 2.1.2 – не работает. комменты не появляются. Не пойму что не так. Тут чел написал, что якобы надо блог в root устанавливать, а у меня cтоит в subdomain. Это действительно имеет значение?
