We have the same issue as OP. We have tried this method but it still seems to cause a redirect loop:

Source: ^/facilities/(.*)
Target: /facilities

This results in too many redirects warning.

Goal: anyone that goes to …com/facilities/(anything) goes to …com/facilities/

Yes, I’ve been looking at that option but have decided to go with WPMU Dev’s Smartcrawl which offers full support for Buddypress including member profiles and the ability to modify the meta titles and descriptions for member pages. If anyone has suggestions on full Yoast + Buddypress integration, would still be very interested to know for future. Thx!

Hi Christian, you’re right and being new to Buddypress, I was trying to do something it may not be possible to do for the foreseeable future: the ability to sync users and their xprofiles between 2 sites on separate servers. I was hoping this initial sync might make it easier, but realize it’s redundant. Appreciate your time though – much appreciated!

Hi Christian, we have created custom fields via functions.php to match xprofile to show in the WP profile.
