  • Just curious if anyone discovered the answer to this question? I’m using Magic Members, and the login page is /login (and there is a page that exists at that location), but some users are getting the error “Security breach, your attempt to access a secure form has been denied!”

Just in case anyone else wanted has the same question, php.ini file needed to stay, and they suggested leaving the .htaccess and then overwriting it when I copied the WP index.php and .htaccess files over from the subdirectory. Said everything else could be deleted. This was on Bluehost.

I’m about to do this same thing- I’ve already got WP up and running and ready to cut over in it’s own directory, and have read both the link you posted above, as well as the one about running it in a subdirectory. My question is, what files need to remain in the root directory? I’m thinking php.ini is one of them, but what else? Can I just delete everything else that is in the current joomla root directory, as well as all of the joomla related subfolders then move all of the wp files and subdirectories into the root directory?

Having the same issue, can you tell me how you fixed it?

I’m still learning css, so could you tell me what to change in order to change everything that is black to blue? I’m only using the login panel, and I have the register linked to a full registration page, so I only need the login panel and the bar across the top to be blue.

I found the file to change, just not sure of which line to change.

I love this slider! Just need to make this color change, and figure out how to make it responsive and it is perfect!

    Thank you.

@mw4designs, could you share how you made the changes to be responsive? Without the changes, the login is coming down outside of the visible area on the iphone 5 unless it is turned into a landscape position.

So to re-cap my problem – when I try to create or edit a post, the editor bar is missing, and all text is white on a white background. This leaves me no way to compose or edit text.

I disabled every plugin, and I am already using the Twenty Eleven theme, and I repaired the database, and none of that fixed my issue.

However, I tried another browser and it works fine.

It does not work on my Firefox 8.0.1 for Mac OS X
or on Google Chrome 15.0.874.121 (I realize there’s a newer vesion, but the update server was not avail when I tried)
    It works on Safari 5.1.2

As long as I have a work around, this is not urgent for me since it does not affect the view others have of my site, only my admin view, and only on those browsers.

I’m having a similar problem, only the missing text is in the edit mode. Thankfully it is still visible on my front page. I realized that all of my text on edit mode is white, so it’s there, it just can’t be seen unless you highlight it. I’m also missing the bar that has all of the formatting buttons.
