Because I need to show my events in a recurring week to week fashion ( not every day ) I’ve removed this plugin and will be using this one instead: https://icalevents.anmari.com/
I suggest that you stop wasting your time here and try one of the other plugins that offer exactly what you need.
No, these may not be perfect but at least you can post to the developer(s) directly and get a quick response. Like you can see here

I can understand what you say.

IE has a long history of not playing nice and that’s what I have here.

Since my other themes work well with this plugin, I’ll wait and see what that particular theme’s designer has to say.

Well, except for not showing the thumbnails in the blog section, the lightbox effect seems to be working.

Seems to be a problem with the specific theme/template and IE.
