I’ve now changed the URL of one of my WordPress sites to the public address and when I try to access it I get this:

403 – Forbidden: Access is denied.
You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials that you supplied.
——
It works fine though as a local site.

Any ideas what kind of permissions this is about??

You basically need to do a database dump, search & replace, then put the db back.

And what do you mean by ‘full database season‘?

And how can I search and replace these mysql tables under Windows?

Also: what is the different between a ‘regular multisite’ and a ‘WP multisite’? I’m using that new ‘network’ feature in WP3.
