Me too. Fail message at 100% multiple times for a 700MB file with host file size set to 900MB and a time out doubled and double again to 2400. This cost me a day of work and embarassment with client. Dreamhost says there is a 512 MB limit in this plugin, and they ensured that it is NOT the host imposing a limit, as the plugin message claims. Terrible. Host says:
“I looked into the issue, and it appears that the free version of the
All-in-One WP Migration plugin only supports imports for backups under
512 MB. Since your file exceeds this limit, you’ll need to use the
All-in-One WP Migration Unlimited Extension to import larger backups.
You can find the official documentation here:
https://help.servmask.com/knowledgebase/all-in-one-wp-migration-user-guide/
Specifically, section 3.2 Backup Size explains this limitation and how
the Unlimited Extension removes the file size restriction.”
I checked and the doc does say that: “3.2 Backup size – It is worth noting that the free community product — All-in-One WP Migration —?supports import for backups less than 512?MB.”That means the message in the plugin is a lie. It says your host limits the upload to 512 at first. I adjusted server settings and so did the host and then it said 900MB is the limit. The plugin said that! That was costly lie. Burned a day waiting for upload after upload to fail.
This is the the worst plugin I have tried in years. The deception sucks.
Thanks Hendra,
I installed the update yesterday. It did fix the bad URL errors, but many of my feeds have not returned yet: ( 100 different RSS feeds built into one page here https://newsi8.com/today/ ) When I go to an individual feed, say The Onion,https://newsi8.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=188021&action=edit&classic-editor
the “Feed Preview” shows in the preview that there are items from today.
Examples:
Dermatologists Advise Against Taking Bite Of Facial Cream 58 mins ago Experts Concerned As Tween Girls Get Swept Up In Last Will And Testament Craze 1 hour ago
but in when I’m looking at the summary of all feeds, the Onion shows 0 items under the “Imported Items” column.
Oddly, the “Next update in” has been conting up from 5 minutes, to now 10 mins, (to now 2 hours). Is that because some other feeds are importing and the Onion feed is getting postponed while that happens? (The last update 20 hours ago ( 0 items ). for the Onion).
I do have traffic triggering the importers to run.
Settings:
Update interval: 2 hours
import latest items first
Limit items by age: 3 days
Limit feed items stored per feed: 15
Feed request user agent: “Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:123.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/123.0”
Cert path is the default: “wp-includes/certificates/ca-bundle.crt”
Disable styles [x]Perhaps they will all fill in by tomorrow.
Thanks again!
