I cleaned it up some and made it work with 2.7.

Planned features:
– check code for parse errors and deactive trigger when found
– add link to “download as plugin” for any trigger that will create a standalone plugin file that does the same thing as the trigger.
– add contributed triggers repo with api + access through xdtriggers plugin so you can browse triggers other people contributed and one click install them.

I would love suggestions from people on this, feedback is great ??

Also, you might want to upgrade to xdf 2 because it is all templated and will be much easier for you to adjust the looks for.

actually this isn’t an xdforum issue, its a wordpress theme issue. if the theme doesn’t handle having content in its content area that is 100% then it will push down on the page.

I can’t necessarily say anything for sure about their hosting, but I met the eleven2 guys at a conference and they are really cool. If I needed hosting I would go with them.

you need to open the wordpress options table and delete the xdforum_settings item from it in order to have a completely clean install.

Hey, old thread, but talked about an ajax chat plugin so I figured I would update it. I just released XDTalk, its an instant messenger that uses ajax to allow your registered wordpress visitors to chat with each other in realtime. Go here to get it:

it is also demo’d on my site there, right above the forum last posts area in the sidebar.

i (xdforum) hook into the template_redirect action and run my function. my function checked $_GET for the variable “a” and if it is “xdforum” then i check for my templates in the current theme directory. if i dont find my templates then i copy them there. then, i just include my main template and call exit;
my template runs the header, footer, and sidebar fuctions as well as the xdforum_process() function which makes the page display.

it all depends on you theme. if you dont have pages in your theme somewhere it doesnt have anything to add it to. upgrade to the latest xdforum and it will give you a link in the admin area that you can use to insert into your theme somewhere manually.

all that will be in the next official release, except for the avater feature. it MAY be depending on if i am able to do it in time or not. also, i have added post templating so that you can make the posts look any which way you want, and fit perfectly into your theme. i am GOING to add xdforum css so that you can completely separate it as well if you like. anyway, check my site: https://www.xdweb.net for quicker replies/news…
