I tried to install it and get the alert: “Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.”. I have wordpress debug set to true, but I’m not seeing any php errors in the error log.

Probably tomorrow I’ll try to install it in a fresh WP Multisite and see what happens.

I’ll have to test this further then. Gave a fatal error when I tried to install it.

I got everything working now. I changed the nameservers awhile back trying to get mapping to work and forgot to change it back. I have everything working as it should except for one little thing.

The subsite “subsite.network.com” works and has SSL. Once I map a domain “subsite.com” to it, it loses it’s SSL. Is there a way to fix this? My client domains are at various registrars. Apparently “Let’s Encrypt” wildcard SSL doesn’t cover it.

This plugin appears to be WordPress 5.1.1 compatible and multisite compatible.

So far it appears to work with 5.1.1, but has a few responsive issues, minor stuff not major. Although I have never used this previously, I don’t know if I’m making a fair comparison.

Oh ok, thanks. It seems to work just fine with “WP Hide & Security Enhancer”.

I took a chance and installed it. I was surprised on how different it us on a multisite vs regular site. Not that I’m complaining.

It works, but differently. I tripled checked to make sure I installed the same plugin. Here is the difference below:

Thanks, that works great, but the widget is still present on the front-end. How do I turn it off by default?

I’m setting up hosting through wordpress multisite(network). I’m offering ecwid as a ecommerce solution, as the store they setup can be the exact same store on facebook.

Here is my problem. I have a heavily customized front-end theme and back-end theme. On the front-end, its in the way because I already have a fixed scroll-up icon, and fixed facebook messenger icon. I also have a fixed main navigation menu at the top. There is no room for a fixed cart/bag icon. On the back-end I have all settings organized and nested within sections just the way I want it. For example: “Identity”, “Header”, “Main”, and “Footer”. After installing the plugin, it added an “Ecwid” section right in the middle of it. I want to hide it, as I don’t want to offer my customers this feature.

on the front-end I could use javascript to move it to the menu as a menu item and style it accordingly. However, this doesn’t solve the back-end problem. I need the section code so I can move it in functions.php and have it display within the appropriate section I want. Although, its just easier to remove it…

I was wondering how this is coming along?

My mistake. The comment showing under my “admin > comments” was from a previously tested plugin. Thank you for your time, it is a nice plugin.

On second thought, I just want to remove it. Is there a way I can remove it by adding code to the functions.php in theme?

Just so you know, the floating icon is intrusive.
