I resolved my issue: The field

site url

should be the url of your wordpress site not the url created by the Facebook and its partner.

My app looks like this in Facebook: https://regressivewatch.org/resources/screenshots/facebook_app.gif

I’m getting this error on the front end in the Facebook tab at the bottom of my browser window.

Object Base Domain Not Allowed: Object at URL ‘https://regressivewatch.org/wordpress/2012/08/23/whats-wrong-with-the-us-economy-2/’ of type ‘article’ is invalid because the domain ‘regressivewatch.org’ is not allowed for the specified application id ‘436827196358934’. I get the 191 as well. I’m running the latest versions of all of it on the latest version of Windows Server 2008 in my own IT infrastructure.

Do I need to the SSL layer to make it work?

Same issue and I run my server and just installed jet pack. Dooes any know the image file name?

OK I deactivated configure smtp and installed WP SMTP and get same error. So now I’m screwed. I don’t know enough about WP and php yet to have a clue.

I have the same issue it doesn’t work most of the time. Initially I had the Translate This Language Translation Plugin installed and it worked fine but the Ajax is much nicer when it works–despite the pain to set up the appid–which isn’t often. Further if I deactivate the Translate This Language Translation Plugin it doesn’t work at all. I commented out the code in Translate This Language Translation Plugin so the button doesn’t show and got the Ajax to work sometimes but not reliable at all. https://regressivewatch.org.

I have the same issue with 3.41. I am running IIS 7.5 with the Configure SMTP plugin. The site is https://regressivewatch.org/wordpress/

file names and locations would be helpful.

I have the same issue! I’m in Texas and Spanish is the most important translations.
