Thanks. Important topic. I may be able to offer you some ideas I’ve been learning recently from theme developers but at the end of the day, I want to add it manually. Please respond and thank you in advance.

I think my problem is my Captcha software. I didn’t realize Contact Form 7 had moved away from its Captcha tool (Really Simple Captcha).

I am stuck. Now I have to uninstall the Captcha tools on my site (Really Simple Captcha and there’s a Confident Captcha plugin too.

Then I need to get the Google reCAPTCHA technology in place. I have everything done except for the html header insert, I think. My site isn’t a Genesis site or something that allows me to easily insert the

<script src=’https://www.google.com/recaptcha/api.js’></script&gt;

In the header from the dashboard. What do you suggest to get this captcha working? Does this mean I have to use a plugin?

@takayuki Miyoshi – I’m going to wait a day before I post the url for the website publicly. I don’t want it to be searchable.

My contact form is still broken. It’s a business website and looks so unprofessional. And I’m exhausted trying and not having it work.

Please keep this open until my issue is resolved.

I have been googling how to fix the form on one of my sites for three days. I had a member of the forum give me instruction – and it didn’t work. My website form is not working now.

I’m stuck. I wish they would just send one clear set of instructions. I have seen several pages – one has a * and the other uses a different strategy.

Do you have a link to a clear guideline? One you would use? Like I’ve said, I’ve seen several.

It didn’t work on my site. The only other thing I can say is I have a Message Body area. Do you know if I have this form right or do I need to change these as well?

Michael – I can’t help. I’m sorry. I do have development sites, but upon closer inspection, they do not all use your plugin.

I’ll think about it because you tried to help me last week and no one else has answered. But I need to think about it and balance out my concerns for my clients’ privacy and my responsibility to keep their sites working. And my time.

I hope you make a lot of money on your great plugin, but honestly, I’m pulling away from it. If I can take time to help you this week, I’d love to know why it can’t be built into a WordPress theme that I pay extra for. I would pay extra for that theme.

I looked for an e-mail address on your website Michael and didn’t find one. So to close, I consulted with the website management hosting firm listed on the bottom of your website. I use them as well for some sites, but I don’t want to put myself in the position of naming them and jeopardizing the services I receive from them.

I took the steps you gave me to Save at the Permalinks page. They just provided support via LiveChat.
