That is my thoughts as I don’t think I have any folders writable by the public. I’ve actually broken some apps by CHMOD-ing too tight…

Thanks for your input, I wanted to hear your thoughts before spending time with the host (they are not bad to deal with, though).

I’m marking it resolved and hope I can keep it that way!

I saw what you are talking about. I often put a graphic up of the width I don’t want the page to shrink below when resizing the browser. If I design the page to look best at not less than 600 pixels, I put a 600 (+- a couple) image in to force the browser to start horizontal scrolling. I have made my top banner serve that function. There are probably other ways of doing this, but without using (argh!) tables, I don’t know of any, somebody else may be better equipped for a more elegant solution.

Are you changing the picture size on the site? In other words, putting a 200 x 350 (just a size picked at random) picture up and using “width” and “height” parameters in your img tag to force the pictures to a different size without resampling the pictures for best appearance (like Photoshop or GIMP, or other graphics program).

It is 755 as well as all directories above and below.

Try the Akismet plugin. It saves me from up to hundreds of spam hits a day. So far, I have not had any make it past, and no false positives either. (I’m up to around 7000 spams caught, not a lot in the grand scheme of things, but the results have been 100% for me).

I get tons of attempted entries just like what you get, and most now seem to be linked to diowebhost.com, which seems to be set up to allow even robot account initiation. Akismet has saved me from having to delete these myself!
