In reply to: Uploading images w/filezilla vs. w/WP image editorI see one thing. The images in the WP browser are thumbnails it creates. I’m guessing my “problem” is insurmountable. If I want to store images on the server for future insertion, I’m going to have to download via ftp to a folder on whatever computer I’m using and upload again via wp image upload. Or type the often-convoluted file names into the WYSIWYG image inserter. Am I right?

In reply to: How to use Pagenavi plugin?I see what’s happening. I am using a theme with the sidebar at the bottom. The page links are waaaaay down at the bottom of the entire page instead at the bottom of my posts. I really don’t have a clue what to do about this.
I want the same structure that so many of the theme samples have, in the dummy post at the bottom with “three links and three pages.”
Suggestions appreciated.

In reply to: How to use Pagenavi plugin? Thanks for the answer. However, I have done this, to the best of my understanding–and it’s not that complicated. Still, I simply am not seeing anything at all on the pages. I hate to sound like a total dummy, but how do I know I’m configuring the page correctly? Can someone give me an example of the values I should be entering?

In reply to: How to use Pagenavi plugin? It’s still me. I see from further searching that the results I’m seeking should be automatic after a proper installation. In my case, I don’t see anything happening. Is it a matter of theme, maybe?
