In reply to: [Sticky Side Buttons] Icons no longer appearIt is interesting: when accessing the site web page, buttons show empty with their names inside each square and showing the colors I chose for the fonts.
If I choose to go to another page in the website they then appear bright and shiny in every page.
Seems that it takes some action to show up.
Please access yidishmusic.com.br to look at this and see if it happens also to you.
I have a screen print if you wanna see it.Forum: Reviews
In reply to: [Sticky Side Buttons] good, but brokenAt first installed I had the same prob. It simply vanished when I deactivated and reactivated the plugin. Now it is stable and runs perfectly both in my closed environment and at the public server. Also it does not interfere with all other plugins I use. I like the look, feel and work it does!

In reply to: [Shoutcast Icecast HTML5 Radio Player] Address problemHi! Thanks for your concern!
I solved the prob changing the URL for another one without “-“.
I found out that it is not a plugin issue but a WP editor issue.
But you can test it in any wordpress page using the text editor for a page. As soon you type “-” the line breaks and disconnects. This happens also with some Portuguese Grammatical construction words that use “-” like “Perdê-lo” that means “to lose it”. For text, no worries. But for addresses, it really messes up.
Anyway, my prob is solved.
Thanks for your time.

In reply to: 000webhost.com error for e-mailSure did. But I was able to work around and edit all mistaken mail addresses. It seems to me now that there is a prob with 000webhost.com. The prob appears only if you built everything in your machine for instance and then upload a site to this webhost targeting a completely empty public_html directory using Duplicator Plugin.
Is you use the webhost environment to build everything, you wont have any problem. So I was able to correct all mistaken data. I am still waiting for an answer from the webhost.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Sticky Side Buttons] mailto: does not work rightHi Maeve!
I don’t have any mailer installed, I am just using email addresses filling the plugin, or coded in the pages using mailto. But what I noted is that there are many plugins that shows this problem in this particular host (000webhost.com). This happens anytime you upload a site to the public host from scratch (empty directory) using Duplicator plugin that installs anything you need to run the wordpress site built in any other place. Of course I asked the webhosting about that and maybe they could find something to correct it. But most important I learned that I could edit and build everything using this webhost environment. So I was able to correct all links to email addresses including those managed by the plugins. So this is a minor prob and was easy to correct. I am using sticky side buttons and it is running brightly. Thank you for your concern and to answer to me. You can close the case.

In reply to: [Donations via PayPal] Paypal plugin errorYes it does. I just found out that this will not be a real problem. I am still learning! Thanks to this event, I discovered that I can edit the entire site inside the server. So, I just edited the addresses of the plugins and the coded directly using the server environment and now made peace. Altough it actually inserts the string when you build your site on your machine and upload and install the site from scratch onto the server. Building the site directly inside the server one will not find any problem with that. So the problem was myself. Thanks for all tips.

In reply to: 000webhost.com error for e-mailThat happened with the Paypal donation Plugin, Sticky Buttons plugin and even in a link coded inside a page with mailto:[email protected]. Perhaps that shows some info security problems…
I did deactivate and reactivate all plugins and uploaded and installed the site over and over, always after cleaning completely the directory assigned to me. Links with https:// pass with no problem. email addresses won’t.Is there a solution that does not include moving to another server?

In reply to: [Donations via PayPal] Paypal plugin errorThanks for the tip but got no solution.
I did Deactivate and reactivate the plugin, then generated an entire new package for site uploading using Duplicator plugin.
What I did: removed all files from the public server under public_html not to have old stuff there.
Uploaded the site and installed it using Duplicator plugin.
Created new database
Again error persists and that is the unique problem I have after site installation and running.
The string ‘000webhost.com’ appear inserted among the email that is valid for the Paypal account, making it useless. Maybe that is something Hostinger does on purpose. But the plugin must have its own security. This show us that the account’s email address can be traced by anyone. And that would be a hazard. Or the plugin itself is acting that editing the email address with the public hostname.
Any other ideas?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Donations via PayPal] Paypal plugin errorBy the way the site is yet not public.
