These are the issues Pinterest is telling me exist for my tag

Page visit – We are detecting this event, but at least one parameter needs action.
Product ID – Too few of the Product IDs included in your Page visit events match the product IDs in your catalogue.

Add to basket – Add an Add to basket event that fires when someone adds a product to your basket.
Product ID – Make sure you are including Product IDs in your Add to basket events. A Product ID can be any format you choose as long as it matches the format used by your catalogue.

Checkout – Add a?Checkout?event that fires when someone successfully buys something on your site.
Product ID – Make sure you are including Product IDs in your Checkout events. A Product ID can be any format you choose as long as it matches the format used by your catalogue.
Value – This should be the total value of the completed order, without commas or currency symbols. Tax or delivery should not be included. For example, if a user completes checkout for a 10 USD item and a 12 USD item, Value would be 22. Example values: 1000, 100.50, 10000.00.
Currency – If you choose to include Currency with your Checkout events, make sure you follow the ISO 4217 format. If left blank, this will default to your Pinterest billing currency. Example values: USD, GBP, CAD, EUR

None of this makes any sense to me as all this info exists for each item on my website, why does the plugin not see it?

I spoke with support at Pinterest and they keep telling me it’s nothing to do with them, it’s simply not the correct info the plugin is sending them, and that I’m not the only one having this issue.

    Hi

    Thanks for your reply.

Here are links to the screenshots of my Permalinks page within WordPress:

Thanks for you help. It wasn’t there when I was using my laptop, so I logged into wordpress via my mobile and the toggle button was there. I’m not sure why this made a difference but it did and I found exactly where you said.

    Thanks again.

I also backed up my site and db, removed everything everything and started with a fresh install of WordPress with no active plugins.

I uploaded a single image and the exact same thing happened, the filename was retained but it changed the Title and the Caption to “oznorHB”

If I can’t find a resolution for this I might need to just go through all my images after uploading them to update all the Titles and Captions. Very time consuming and annoying.

    Hi, thanks for your reply.

    I renamed the following dir:
    plugins to plugin1
    mu-plugins to mu-plugins1

I switched theme to Twenty Twenty-One

I then tried to upload a single image to the medial library and while it did retain the filename in the folder, it changed the Title and the Caption to “oznorHB”
