The problem was resolved by creating it from “New Page With Pricing Table” instead of using a shortcode, so it’s fine for now.

Also, there is a problem with the behavior when creating a new shortcode table as shown below.

When trying to publish, an error occurs and it fails, as shown in the image. In this case, the default table is left as is and no changes have been made.

The error message is translated into English as follows:

I edited an existing table.

When I checked, I found that when I created a table with a shortcode, the double quotation marks (“) used in the shortcode were replaced with escape characters.

On the other hand, when I created it on a static page, I was able to make the shortcode work. The double quotation marks remained.

Is there any difference?

If the shortcode is valid, let’s say you put it on a static page like this:

I am using a plugin called “Simple WP Membership”.

I am checking the payment shortcode “swpm_payment_button id=”XXXXX”” provided by that plugin.

I entered the shortcode in the edit screen as shown in the link below.

Yes, it is. I was using this in the bullet points of the “features offeerd”, but it is no longer available.
