Hi Mark,
Thanks for reply.
I checked all that kind of stuff including deactivating plugins and although I believe your update gave the problem a nudge it turned out to be ‘MailPoet Newsletters’ (Version 2.6.1 By Wysija).
I renamed the plugin folder, obviously better than deactivating, and tracked it down one by one.
I’ve made them aware and they’re looking at it.Thanks again,
Steve.

In reply to: [Fast Secure Contact Form] session_start error on Fast Secure Contact FormI think I may delete this plugin as this is not the first time this error has happened. The last time I ended up reinstalling WP because of it then everything went ok (So it wasn’t the webserver at fault).
It has now happened again since your update so I am a very unhappy person.
I have posted a ticket to my server in hope they can fix it as you have suggested but it’s clear to me this plugin is the root cause and not worth the upset ??Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: Theme: WP-Creativix how to add photos to sliderI’ve just checked your website and you are doing it wrong! You are trying to use ‘uncropped photos’. Try the above and it should work.

In reply to: Theme: WP-Creativix how to add photos to sliderFirstly I notice your photos are not stretched they are squashed, so the height is wrong.
Try this little tip that I do Simtek:
In your photo software make a template that is the exact size of your header. Open it then paste your photo into it and adjust your picture to suit, then crop and save as ‘simtekslider’.
Choose a post, make it a sticky, select ‘simtekslider’ from your media and use as featured image, then click update (Never forget to update).Hope this helps.

In reply to: Admin login redirects backI must have spent maybe 70 hrs working on this problem.
Tried all of wordpress forums and solutions. I contacted my host as I know they can effect things like this, but it wasn’t them.
I finally contacted my broadband service provider and pretended that I knew it was them at fault.
After a lengthy time spent with them they said they would pass it to their tech’ people and I would have to wait a couple of days.
Although I have had no explanation from them all of a sudden everything is working again. It was defo’ them that had caused this but no admission from them.Problem solved….

In reply to: Admin login redirects backAbout 2011 theme. I assumed all you do is unzip, drop into themes folder and rename the other theme.
I will rename plugin folder and my theme for a short time (I’ve posted on “theme my login” so awaiting a response from there too).Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Admin login redirects backI deleted all themes except Esplanade a long time ago. I downloaded 2011 and put it into the themes folder, but it does not activate when I rename Esplanade. I just get a blank page.

In reply to: Admin login redirects backI’ve done all that mate thanks. I don’t think this has anything to do with passwords. It’s the redirect that’s at issue here but I don’t know what caused it or how to get passed it.

In reply to: Admin login redirects backThat’s the address I normaly see at first. Just tried again and it still sends me to the redirect.

In reply to: Rollover 2 imagesThanks Michael, I will certainly give that a try although I finally managed to get the other working by deleting test. from the 2nd & 3rd image url’s.
This also works now, but you’re right about yours looking cleaner.<img title=”test” onmouseover=”src=’https://photo-restore.me.uk/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/RED.jpg’;” onmouseout=”src=’https://photo-restore.me.uk/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/BLUE.jpg’;” src=”https://photo-restore.me.uk/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/BLUE.jpg” alt=”” width=”300″ height=”200″ />
