It works fine to me on iPhone.

Could you try to see if it works at least on a desktop computer? Maybe there is a plugin conflict.

1. This is not possible.

2. You can disable the hover effect by adding this CSS code to Custom CSS section:

.zoom-social_icons-list__item a:hover .socicon,
.zoom-social_icons-list__item a:hover .dashicons,
.zoom-social_icons-list__item a:hover .genericon,
.zoom-social_icons-list__item a:hover .fa {
    opacity: 1;
}

Color of icons can be changed by clicking on the icon in the widget settings.

Thanks for your suggestion, but I’m afraid that this is not something that we want to add in the widget, as its purpose is to link to social profiles, not to share links or articles.

By the way, Jetpack Sharing includes WhatsApp sharing buttons for posts:

Thank you for your suggestions! We’ll improve the sorting of icons in the next updates, especially for the Font Awesome kit.

As for the hover coloring, I’m not sure yet that such a feature is needed, as I’m afraid it may create an extra step in setting up the widget.
