In reply to: [WP Activity Log] Can’t deactivate or deleteHello @eyeghoti,
May I ask why you would like to remove the plugin?
In regard to your error – the user issues you are mentioning should not interfere with such process. What happens when you try to deactivate the plugin? Are you getting any error? If yes, what is it please?

In reply to: [WP Activity Log] Custom AlertsSorry for the misunderstanding @sanjula007.
At this stage we do not support custom taxonomies. We only support categories and tags. Though you can build your custom code should you wish.
Take a look at the Content.php sensor file in the plugin for an idea of how we’re handling categories and tags.
I hope the above will help you get started. If there is something else we can help you with, please do not hesitate to ask.

In reply to: [WP Activity Log] PHP Notice was foundHello @jidaikobo
This is strange since the global array needs to carry the index all time. Though we introduced a fix to safeguard such issue in the next update. So stay tuned for the next update.
Have a good day and if there is anything else we can help you with, please let us know.

In reply to: [WP Activity Log] Error: function is_trial() on freemiusHello @samuelbernardo
Thank you for using our plugin and sorry you are encountering such error. We cannot replicate the error ourselves so can you please answer the below questions so we can troubleshoot and solve this issue?
1) When is such error happening, during activation or when you do something specific?
2) Is this error a “show stopper” or you can still use the website / plugin?
Looking forward to hearing from you.

In reply to: [WP Activity Log] Log Media Library Activity?Hello @b-rad,
Thank you for showing interest in our plugin.
The plugin will keep a log when a file is uploaded and when a file is deleted. Though at the moment it does not report any edits. It is something we want to do soon.
Refer to the list of WordPress activity log alerts for a complete list of changes the plugin can keep a log of.
Should you be interested, you can also develop such functionality yourself by using the Custom WordPress activity log alerts.
I hope the above answers your question. Should you have any further questions please do not hesitate to ask.

In reply to: [WP Activity Log] Time zone displayed incorrectlyHello @sjrcarter
Thank you for using WP Security Audit Log.
By default the time in the WordPress activity log is in UTC but you can switch it to the same time zone configured on WordPress as explained in How to change the time of your WordPress activity log.
I hope the above answers your question. Should you have any further queries please do not hesitate to ask.

In reply to: [WP Activity Log] It doesn’t work (404-logs, code 6023)Hello @peoy,
We will look into this and see if we can actually improve the logs to also report the actual requested non-existing object that is being requested rather than the page. Thanks for reporting this, definitely a good user case.
By the way the plugin is an audit log solution and not just a 404 monitoring tool. So if 404s are not working well for you (and we will look into improving them) you can still use it for the rest of the logging, to see who logged in, when, what did they do etc.
If you do not want any logs related to 404 errors simply disable the logging of 404 errors by doing the following:
1. Navigate to the Enable/Disable Alerts section in the plugin’s menu.
2. Click on WordPress & Multisite Management tab.
3. Click on System Activity Tab.
4. Disable Alerts 6007 and 6023.You can read more about this in this FAQ on Logging 404 WordPress errors to a log file.
I trust the above should help you “partially” cover up this problem until we make another update.

In reply to: [WP Activity Log] It doesn’t work (404-logs, code 6023)Hello @peoy,
Thank you for using our plugin and sorry to hear you are encountering such problems. Let’s troubleshoot it so we can solve it ??
By the way, 404 errors could be generated directly by users or also by other pages, i.e. you might have pages trying to load resources which do not exist, thus generating a 404 error.
Also, the plugin tries to report the referrer in the log so you can see from where they are being generated, but if it is empty it means it is unable to retrieve it or the web server is not reporting it.
To start off with, we just released an update of the plugin with updating 404 monitoring functionality. So can you update the plugin first?
Secondly, it seems that the plugin is reporting the homepage as broken link? Can you please try to access the page yourself and see if the plugin reports it in the logs?
Looking forward to hearing from you.

In reply to: [WP Activity Log] Seems Resource IntensiveHello @racosgrave,
Thank you for your feedback and sorry to hear you are encountering resources issues.
With every release we look back at sections of the code to see what we can improve in terms of performance. So for the majority of users, the plugin performs well but there will always be edge cases that we need to look into individually to see what might be causing such problem.
Would appreciate if you can get in touch with us to give us more details and give us the opportunity to troubleshoot this issue.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
