Hi Support Thanks for the response.
Are you saying that you fixed the WIN10 / Chrome issue on the latest versions? Otherwise, as stated before, the photo upload window works fine on everything else.
Thank you.

I never said such thing. It’s you who posted your “solution” here. I said what I said to warn others that it’s a bad idea. What you should do at this point is stop manipulating my words in hopes I give you more information in this topic. I didn’t even make the initial reply for you. I simply replied the team member who said that it’s not possible. You should have taken what I said as a hint and not expect that either someone else or I spoon-feeds you the correct information now. You need to mark this topic as resolved.

I have no idea about what you tried out so all I am going to say is that you’re setting up things wrong. I suspect hundreds if not thousands of users know also what I am talking about but won’t post either because the steps to take are several. And since you already found your own solution I see no point in continuing any further with this discussion so good luck with your UM website.
I’m afraid but this won’t apply to public users so it won’t suit my problem.
Yes it would, you just don’t get it. Public users could simply be not allowed viewing access in the UM Form by means of making a profile role-specific. Sorry, I am not going to provide you with a step-by-step tutorial for this because I am a busy developer. But, having that extra plugin to control access on your UM site seems like a bad idea in the long run as plugins change, get updated and you could end up with a real mess in the database. You were warned. Just saying.
Actually this can be easily done by creating two profile forms and assigning them to 2 user roles where one would have no access to view the other’s profile form. Then both shortcodes will be pasted into the User page.
Not hi-jacking this but sorry, you can’t attack other users (“BorisV”) then ask to discuss third party plugins. These things are strictly forbidden on WordPress forums.
Thanks for listening and keep up the good work.
Just to be clear, if for example there is an account page and it has user role permissions set to “members”, and this is the only one checked, then only members could see the alert on the account page and any other user roles (e.g. admin, editor, author, client, etc) do not see it.
Thanks.
Good tips both of you!
Sorry! Forget it then. Good grief, this is not my plugin and the last thing I want now is to be associated with the UM support team.
No, we don’t need it. A couple of clients asked for it. Others said they don’t want a community builder plugin without that feature. It’s kind of silly to create a community of user profiles that you can’t even add as a favorites, don’t you think?
There are other features that are nice in your plugin, but this is a business of diminishing returns and your offering (even the paid plugin version) still doesn’t cut it at a professional level.
I hope you can still read this. I know you ignore posts that don’t have anything to do with bug issues or the use of UM.
Take heed of the things we and others post in your board. We are just trying to help out a team of young developers such as you.
I think you can buy an extension to do just that or improvise with the UM plugin to make it a semi-automatic process, in which case you would have to create a new member role (e.g. ‘paid members’) to make the switch.

We create paid memberships all the time for our clients. To make a long story short, the simplest way is to do all paid memberships as 3 different user roles/capabilities and it would be a manual process by you. Another way entails using Woocommerce for automatic membership and more time testing all settings.
Either way it’s not gonna be an easy thing to put together.
Good luck.
This is what I was referring to:
Looks a lot better than comma separated text, doesn’t it?
