As for now, it is not possible to change the default country of the Traveller details using the filter code as the default country field in the Traveler form will only be changed in case of activation of the WP Travel Pro plugin.

Regarding removing the review count from the Featured Trips section, please add the following given CSS code in the Additional CSS section by going to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS.
