In reply to: Mapping simply does not work….WP multisite & domain mapping plugin is working fine for you. I guess you are having problem with your Host. Contact your host to park this domain, when you are done with parking, the issue will be resolved i guess.

In reply to: Mapping simply does not work….It seems that you are having problem with Domain Parking.
Check your DNS whether it’s already having an entry for this Domain(mapped domain). If yes, remove that domain entry and then try to park it again. ??Forum: Networking WordPress
In reply to: Redirects without www. only go to home pageRewriteEngine On RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www.fairfax.cc$ [NC] RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://fairfax.cc/$1 [R=301,L]
Add this rewrite rule on the top of your .htaccess file.

In reply to: Redirects without www. only go to home pageif you don’t include www. then it just takes you to the home page and not the specified page.
It’s totally opposite of what you are saying…
Your site is working fine with non-www, the problem is with www.Check your .htaccess code whether there any weird redirection.
Are you using any kinda plugin, for redirection? if yes, the plugin might be responsible for this issue.Forum: Networking WordPress
In reply to: Apache to NGINXI’m using APC too ??
What about Varnish? you have any idea?@andrea
That’s what I’ve mentioned on my 3rd comment.Which one is better ?
Varnish + Apache or NGINX + Apache or NGINX + PHP-FPM + APC ?What is the basic difference between these two “Using NGINX as a front end proxy to Apache” & “100% NGINX”?
I understand that configuring it as a front-end proxy to Apache so that unsupported requests will be handled by Apache thus we can use mod_rewrite/.htaccess and minimize all those migration issues..
But other than that? Is there any kinda advantage of using 100% NGINX?Forum: Networking WordPress
In reply to: Login issues…Root domain = Main Domain, likewise Root blog = Main blog (BLOG ID = 1)
And, NO! you can’t set multiple domains as a main/root domain.

In reply to: Domain mapping blog id 1The only time you get ‘under contsuction’ is if they park a domain to it’s own location.
Ya this is what they logically do, but sometimes they point parked domain to some reserved location instead of /public_html/parked_domain_name/, you can’t even change that default location.

In reply to: Login issues…new blogs being blog1.domain2.com and blog2.domain2.com
Everything’s working fine with domain1.com.
The entries for https://www.domain1.com, blog1.domain2.com, and blog2.domain2.com all point to the same folder.
It seems a mess. According to your description domain2 should be your root domain of multisite. What’s domain1 then? As you have mentioned both point to the same folder, are you redirecting domain1.com to your root blog(domain2.com)?
