My colleagues will get back to you eagerly ??Hello there,
Thanks for your interest in WpStream. We currently do not offer this possibility however, you can upvote this feature on this thread if you would like to see it in a future plugin update. As of now, please check out this tutorial on how to accomplish this using OBS, Skype and NDI. Hope this helps and please let me know if you have further questions!
Hello there,
Indeed the feature is only available for users to broadcast via the Front-End and the Admin can choose the roles of who can live stream, the type of channel (Free/pay-per-view), and they can also set a price.
As for the shortcodes, this is what you are supposed to use [wpstream_start_streaming id =””]
Or on Visual Bakery – “WpStream Start Streaming” button.
Or on Elementor – “WpStream Start Streaming” widgetHope this helps and please let me know if I can help with anything else!
Best,
Beatrice“Black Screen” is very commonly a symptom of a plugin conflict, see this on how to address https://wpstream.net/forums/topic/plugin-and-theme-conflicts-how-to-identify-and-address/
The live metrics currently only show data for 3rd party broadcasters, this is soon changing along with the next generation browser broadcaster, see about it here https://wpstream.net/forums/topic/next-generation-browser-broadcaster-public-beta/

In reply to: [WpStream - Live Streaming, Video on Demand, Pay Per View] Browser streamingBroadcasting from the browser may not work for every setup. See this thread for details.
A new version of the browser broadcast is in the works and should be available in January. It will cover more use cases (browsers, connection configuration) but may still not be universally available.
Please get in touch with us, we can get you more resources for testing.
A WpStream channel can be watched by hundreds of thousands of viewers simultaneously without issue, millions with a bit of preparation (let us know of your large scale events in advance).
Please feel free to reach out to our friendly support for help understanding and diagnosing ‘lag’ and other issues.
