In reply to: wordpress 5.9 generates big ttfb and slows the websiteYes we are working with the theme developers to address this issue. However i still don’t understand what can trigger such bug difference in loading times ? Obsolete php/ wordpress instructions ? new wp functions ?.
Hello there,
So sorry to hear that you are having trouble. Does your website become really slow only when you add the live stream to your front page or if you add it to any page on your website? Looking forward to hearing from you.

BeatriceHey there,
You are most welcome! Please do let us know if you come across any issues.

BeatriceHello there,
In order to stream via the back-end these users will have to be set as admins through WordPress and not through WpStream. In the video tutorials, this feature is only for non-admins that wish to broadcast on your website.
As an admin streaming from the back-end, your users can broadcast normally and you can check out this tutorial to see how https://youtu.be/L0RN5Y2lZHk

BeatriceHello there,
So sorry to hear that you are having trouble broadcasting.
1) Please make sure that you are connected (signed in) to WpStream on your website
2) Make sure you follow the instructions in one of the videos below depending on which page builder you use
– WpBakery https://youtu.be/3XH7AgXxsdY
– Elementor https://youtu.be/9TGRT7_nXpoThe videos both run you through how to set up the plugin to allow regular users to broadcast as well as how to assign each user permission to broadcast
I hope this helps and please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.
Best regards,

In reply to: [WpStream - Live Streaming, Video on Demand, Pay Per View] Channel ImageHello there,
You should be adding a featured image of 1200 x 628 pixels ideally as per WordPress standards. You can find more information regarding the best image size by checking out this link https://blog.hubspot.com/website/wordpress-featured-image-size
Please let me know if there is anything else I can assist you with!

In reply to: [WpStream - Live Streaming, Video on Demand, Pay Per View] Comment and likeHi again,
If you simply want a comment section, you can add this by creating post, clicking on ‘Screen Options’ on the top right corner, and then enabling ‘Discussions’ https://prnt.sc/1wyw4t3
If you would like both comments and likes, you can check out this article https://www.greengeeks.com/tutorials/how-to-add-a-like-or-dislike-feature-to-comments-in-wordpress/

In reply to: [WpStream - Live Streaming, Video on Demand, Pay Per View] access to APIHello there,
Our API is currently in beta, please write to [email protected] to request access to it, do take the time to briefly describe your use case.

Hi benvcs,
Yes we do! Please follow the instructions in this article.
You more or less need to follow the exact steps from the video tutorials however, instead of a block or widget, you will add this code to the page:
[wpstream_go_live id =””]You can add the channel ID between the quotation marks if you want to assign a particular channel to a user like so: [wpstream_go_live id =”123″]
Please let me know if I can assist you with anything else.
