Hello @alphaleo,
Thank you for using our product!
To pre-filter your projects, just go to your portfolio’s settings and enable the “Hide theAll
category filter” option under the “Advanced” section. It will filter the projects by the first category.
Unfortunately you can’t specify by which category it should be filtered, it will take the first one by default. That is, the “a” will be selected from “a”, “b”, and “c”.- This reply was modified 6 years, 5 months ago by Jan Dembowski.
We’ve emailed you regarding this matter, so I’m going to close this topic for now!

In reply to: [Portfolio, Gallery, Product Catalog - Grid KIT Portfolio] display errorDear Julie,
Seems you’re using the “Jetpack” plugin and the problem may be its image lazy loading option. Could you please try to disable that option and check if the gallery issue still exists?
Dear @larrycarlin,
For the titles/descriptions in grid there is no option to import from WordPress’s media gallery, but inside a popup you can enable the option to take the captions from wp gallery. Please checkout the “Enable picture caption for popup” option under “Advanced” tab, in your gallery settings.
Dear @emile999,
No, currently we don’t have roles, permissions restrictions. Any user who can edit posts can create/edit/delete all portfolios.

Dear @csem,
At first I want to mention that the ability to have multiple albums on one page is available only in premium version of this plugin.
So, if you’re not using the free version, as we mentioned in that topic’s reply, you just need to put those shortcodes inside different containers.
That is, if you’re using a pagebuilder, put each shortcode inside a separate code/editor block. If you’re not using any builder put them inside different code blocks (<div> tags). If there is something specific in your case, and you can’t get multiple albums on one page, just contact us here and our developers will help you with this.
Dear @mountainsmoke,
It could be just a style compatibility issue between Grid Kit and your theme as soon as they both include their styles on the same page.
Could you please send us the url of the webpage where we can check the issue? And so could provide more proper help.Dear @joerugg,
You’ve also contacted us by email and we’ve answered your questions detailed in the email.
You just need to put those shortcodes inside different containers. Please check your email and feel free to contact us if there will be more questions.
Dear @georgewlfoster,
Yes, currently these options are not supported for video tiles.
You’ve contacted us by email and we’ve sent a response with more details.
Please check your email and feel free to contact us if there will be any questions.Hello @swizznet,
Thank you for using our product!
When the grid alignment is set to “center aligned”, it means the grid will load at the center of the container inside which its located. In your case you’ve put the shortcode inside a paragraph (<p> tag) and center aligned it, but its not allowed to put any html code inside a paragraph, thats why the grid changes its position.
To fix that, just put the shortode inside an html container (inside a <div> tag or in code block if you use a page builder).
If you need any help with doing this, you can send us any WordPress admin user credentials here, so our developers could connect and fix that for you.Dear Snake-Plissken,
Your theme or some other plugin has styles which make the text show like that, so to fix this could you please add the following CSS code to your webpage where the grid is placed?
.lg-info { white-space: normal!important; }
If you need help with adding the code, feel free to contact us here and our developers will help you.
Hello Snake-Plissken,
No, this is not how this plugin works. Maybe its just some style problem with your theme or website. Could you please provide the url of a website where we can check the problem, so we could provide more proper help?
Hello @cardinalair,
If you create an Grid Kit album, you can add many photos at once to each item. Just hold the Shift key while selecting images from WordPress Media Uploader.
And if you create a Grid Kit gallery, again, just hold the Shift key while selecting images and it will create a separate gallery item for each image.
Try this and feel free to contact us if there will be more questions.
