Sure, you can! When you create a layout by GridKIT, it generates a short-code for that layout. So you can use Elementor’s elements, e.g. Short-Code element, to showcase GridKIT layouts.

The difference between albums and galleries, is hierarchy structure. In other words, Albums can contain multiple galleries, whereas galleries contain items belonging to that specific gallery.

In the composer/builder section where you add your YouTube entires, click on the main thumbnail picture and it will popup already existing YouTube entry details, then click on the “Custom thumbnail” radio button, select the picture you want from your WordPress Media library, then save all your changes. You’ll see your custom thumbnails instead of YouTube’s default thumbnails in the layout now.

This error means you have an instance installed on your WordPress, either uninstall it from WordPress Plugins section or using any FTP client delete the folder located in “wp-content/plugins/portfolio-wp”

As I remember we’ve had an email conversation regarding this topic and it’s resolved now.

The resolution should be changing the “Screen size” option from “Default” to “Custom”!

By default it uses low quality thumbnails in the grid, if you want to increase the quality, please update “Grid thumbnail quality” option in the settings. Set it to “Large” or “Original” for higher quality images used in the layouts/grids.

In your gallery/album/grid settings section you should have an option called “Tile margins” located under Dimensions subsection. Just enter 0 to remove the space between tiles, without using px or pt, e.g. 0px or 0pt.

There’s no option in the settings for this, but as an alternative you can use custom css styles for this. Put this custom css styles in your gallery settings section and replace SHORTCODEID with your gallery identifier.

For example, if your gallery short-code is [gkit id=123], then your styles should be

The content you want to show in the popup, should be entered in the gallery composer where you add images, titles, description etc… The problem that you do not see it in the content popup, I guess you’ve checked “Enable picture captions“. If that option is checked, you see WordPress Media Gallery captions in the popup presentation. Please check it!
