Yes, I tried that and it appears to have worked. My page is now displaying correctly. Looks like NextGEN Gallery were not aware that this was a legacy short code of theirs which was still active.
Thanks very much for your prompt response, STW Support!

I’ve just looked at the page source myself, and can see that the following code in the WordPress text editor (Edit Page)…
<td style=”background-color: #ffffff; width: 230px;” rowspan=”3″ align=”left”>[thumb size=”lg”]https://www.kuringgaiyoga.com.au[/thumb]</td>
…gets rendered in my browser as the following:
<td style=”background-color: #ffffff; width: 230px;” rowspan=”3″ align=”left”><div
class=”ngg-galleryoverview ngg-ajax-pagination-none”
id=”ngg-gallery-3a68ad460f9079ce0e64adfc4ad97755-1″><div class=”slideshowlink”>
[Show slideshow]</div>
<!– Thumbnails –>
<div id=”ngg-image-0″ class=”ngg-gallery-thumbnail-box” >
<div class=”ngg-gallery-thumbnail”> etc etc….It definitely looks as though NextGEN Gallery is interpreting the [thumb] short code, even though they say it’s not a short code structure they currently use.
Hi there STW Support,
You can look at the following page:
https://pymble.unitingchurch.org.au/helping-others/groups-who-call-us-home/On this page I have a table, containing short codes like the following:
[thumb size=”lg”]https://www.kuringgaiyoga.com.au[/thumb]However, instead of showing a thumbnail of the yoga website it’s showing a slideshow of a random 20 images that are saved in a few different NextGEN galleries.
It’s very strange….
Hi There STW Support,
You can have a look at the following page:
https://pymble.unitingchurch.org.au/helping-others/groups-who-call-us-home/ ?I have specified the following short code for this page:
[thumb size=”lg”]https://www.kuringgaiyoga.com.au[/thumb]But instead of showing a thumbnail of the yoga website, it is showing a thumbnail gallery of a random 20 photos (which are not even all in the same NextGEN Gallery).
It’s very strange…..
Sorry – my mistake. I gave you the version number of a completely different plugin.
I am using v2.0.61 of NextGEN.
Accidentally duplicated this post, so you can close this one please.
I am experiencing this issue as well, and am using v2.0.7 of NextGEN Gallery. The slideshow on the homepage of my site (www.habitatbc.com.au) doesn’t work at all in Safari, and works as described above in Chrome.
This slideshow is a “NextGEN Basic Slideshow” with Flash NOT enabled (so that in theory it should work on Apple mobile devices, except it doesn’t – it’s stuck on a single image from the linked gallery).

In reply to: How do I remove the author, date & category fields under a post?WOW!! Thank you so much, that worked! (I know I shouldn’t be surprised). I am loving WP more each day.
I’ve installed Jetpack, and read up a bit on child themes, and I think I should create a child theme of Pinboard, as there are other things I want to change as well (e.g. flatten the height of the menu bar options, and reduce their width so they don’t wrap around onto a third line).
Thanks again!

I’m using the Pinboard theme, and my site (which is still under development) is https://www.wpspandc.com.au
I don’t know how to do CSS code (I’m new to WP and building websites, but on a steep learning curve!) but I have a helper who could probably follow instructions if I forwarded them to her.
Really appreciate your help!

In reply to: Lost Link Features and BlogRoll WidgetI read that the Links functionality was going to be removed in WP version 3.5 – have you recently upgraded to this?

In reply to: Creating separate page permissions for specific usersThanks for this. I looked into Role Scoper, and saw that its developer has released another (paid) plugin, Press Permit, which promises to be better than Role Scoper, so I installed that and have destroyed my site. Permissions are all over the place, and I’m tempted to delete my site and start all over again!! Ahhhh!!!
